Leopard’s Leap #Words4Wine – the next chapter

After the success of the #Words4Wine initiative at the annual Open Book Festival in September, sponsor of the festival, Leopard’s Leap Wines, decided to add another chapter to this project by which pre-loved books are collected for those in need of reading material.

A hit during the festivities in Cape Town, this initiative invites bibliophiles and those who love literature, who understand the importance of reading and who have books to share, to visit Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards in the Franschhoek Valley during November in order to exchange a book for a glass of wine from Leopard’s Leap’s popular Classic Collection.

The books will be used to build creative Christmas trees in the Leopard’s Leap Tasting Room for the 2016 Holiday Season and will then, together with the books from the Open Book Festival, be categorised and distributed according to relevance to primary school learners in St Mary’s Primary School as well as to teens and adults at Moholo Live House in Khayelitsha.
