With close to 850 delegates from all facets of the wine industry, the 15th annual Vinpro Day highlighted some of the challenges that grape producers are facing amidst a challenging economic and climatic environment.
For the 5th year running, Hatch managed Vinpro’s Social Media communication for the day. Not only did the team manage to send out more than 110 tweets during the morning, but it gained valuable insight into South Africa’s economic status, vineyard forecasts and current wine marketing trends on a global platform.

An insightful presentation by Andreas Clark, CEO of Wine of Australia, provided a glimpse into Australia’s devastating fires and how they, as a wine industry, have moved forward since. Overall, delegates left with some valuable lessons and were encouraged to face the challenges head-on.
