About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Paid Media Assistant to support our Paid Media Manager with the execution of Meta and TikTok advertising campaigns.

 

This is a hands-on execution role. You’ll be responsible for setting up ad campaigns across Meta and TikTok using creative, copy, and briefs supplied by our team. Strategy, optimisation, and reporting are handled in-house, so you can focus on doing what you do best: building clean, accurate, well-structured campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys campaign implementation, works accurately, and wants to deepen their experience across a diverse portfolio of clients.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Setting up ad campaigns, ad sets, and ads on Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager, based on briefs, creative assets, copy, and links provided by the team
  • Structuring campaigns according to agency naming conventions and account structure guidelines
  • Uploading and formatting creative assets correctly per platform specs
  • Applying targeting, budgets, placements, and scheduling as directed
  • Flagging any platform issues, disapprovals, or technical errors during setup
  • Maintaining organised records of live campaigns and setups completed
  • Communicating proactively and clearly with the team on turnaround times and any blockers

 

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience setting up paid ads on Meta and TikTok
  • Comfortable working in Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager
  • Detail-oriented, comfortable following structured briefs precisely
  • Reliable with deadlines and clear communication
  • Based in or near Stellenbosch is preferred, but we’re open to remote candidates
  • Own laptop and stable internet connection

 

Advantageous

  • Experience working in a marketing or digital agency.
